I was there as a freshman in the student section. The aftermath was awesome. First oranges thrown on the field. Then stadium seats.
Then saw a student stalk a cop the entire length of the field and pelt him with an orange in the back of the head. Then saw a bunch of cops chase him and tackle him right in front of me in the end zone. Then beat the ever loving shite out of him.
As I left, I saw them loading the bloody mess left of him into an ambulance. What a time to be alive.

whippersnapper! I did the charter to the Orange Bowl that year, lots of fun going down to MIA, not so much coming back
