The GOAT? This seems to have been said on the board with regard to every position the last few years. Why does everything recent have to be the GOAT? Recency bias? We have been playing football for over 125 years.

Right! There have been a lot of great defensive tackles. Leonard Marshall was pretty darn good too!

Lol no doubt. Every year I read about how somebody is about to become the goat at some position. Why do we have to label these guys as goats before their career is over? Sometimes these kids are labeled goats before their career has even begun like with Anthony Freak Johnson.

If he stays healthy I'm sure Maason Smith will have a fine career. But comparing him to Glen Damn Dorsey after one season? That's a bit much. I don't see how being a hard worker and having a good freshman year equates to him being better than one of the best DTs to ever play in the SEC.
