Not gonna run the spread offense
Unfortunately it will be a very vanilla offense. The years Denbrock was at Cincy they only threw for around 230 yards per game. Almost never ran 5 wide. A lot of 3 wide and a TE.

Once the 19' offense really clicked it was pretty much all 11 personnel. It's really the most variable formation and among all the things that offense was really, really good at, one of them was trapping teams with their personnel on the field for all 3 downs while we ran a number of different looks at them.
Obviously the offense since then completely lost sight of the running game. If anything, the concerning thing would be going away from utilizing the middle of the field. That was one thing last years offense & Max did a pretty good job at.
Both Kelly & Denbrock have spoken about not risking turnovers & taking downfield shots. I haven't watched enough Kelly offenses to know if they're too conservative to not attack the middle, but that's by far the best area to operate a passing game in todays CFB. The downfield shots are nice but to win consistently have to be able to operate in the intermediate middle.
