One year ago exactly. He beat Tsitsipas in the third round and made the quarters. He kind of tapped out physically at that point. A lot of people expected him to win the French, but Zverev played really well and took him out. Alcaraz is probably better on hardcourts. Anyway, tennis fans have been expecting this run. I just hope he has gas in the tank tomorrow, it's been a brutal week on him.

Idk what he’ll have left in the tank but if it’s not 100% the match is going to be tough for him. Ruud seems to have the ability to make him work REALLY hard to earn points.
I’m shocked at how good Alcaraz is. But Ruud has been highly impressive as well(I’d also never heard of him).
