Will never go back - make 2 road trips a year - Gainesville failed on every front - if you bring family/children the on campus tailgating is nonexistent - so you go to the row of bars with shot girls all over - bad for family environment - if you make it an all guys trip - it’s the same but the shot girls are not worth it - it is a tinker toy stadium - I have loved almost every road trip and have made them multiple times but will never go back there

Ok. Sounds like it may disappoint. But I am going.

Any good ideas on parking or hotels.

I've gone to the Swamp for a game for 20 years with a UF buddy of mine. Tailgating is everywhere - just like most other major football schools. And the campus is pretty.

Now, Gainesville isn't the best, and the stereotype of tacky fans wearing jorts is accurate, but the Swamp itself is loud and spirited.

Don't listen to the negative posters - you may not like Gainesville in general, but you'll love the campus and the game itself.
