I think it’s St. Augustine too. Pull up a runner and post a picture. That would make it easier to i.d. If the leaves look significantly different from the backyard grass, it could just be a different St. Aug cultivar. The other options intentionally planted generally in NWLA are Centipede, Zoysia and Bermuda. Maybe it’s a seeded type of zoysia. I have an infestation of Carpetgrass that looks similar, but it’s full of ugly seed heads about a half a week after mowing.
