Alternative to gutters

I have a place that has some real steep roof line and the water comes off fast.
I’d like to get some gutters but they’re hard to deal with. Always having to clean them.
I’d rather find an alternative.
I have a French drain at the foundation
I’ve seen these rain chains that lower the impact of the water. I’ve seen the louvre systems that defuse the water.
I want some real world advice. Any help or advice is appreciated.

rain chains
Rain chains are basically an alternative to the downspout for your gutters. Unless there is something I don't know about, they aren't a replacement for your gutter.

Depending on the type of trees nearby, you can get leaf gaurds on the gutters to make them easier to deal with. I didn't put them on mine b/c I have to deal with pine trees and the pine needles would probably create more headache with the mesh on the gutters.

We used rainhandler at my prior home to protect flowerbeds from washout.

Ah
I see. I’d still need gutters.
I just want to avoid getting gutters
I saw something on This Old House where they installed some rain Louvres which did a nice job of dispersing the water to keep it from getting on side of house and slamming to the ground causing erosion.
Ima look into those
