What’s the difference? Why is there a double standard?

"walking away from football" and opting out are very different.

Chase, Stingley, and others walked away (as starters) from LSU Football for the NFL. Brennan is walking away from a role as a back up to move on with his life.

This is the difference. MB is essentially retiring from football. The opt out players aren't.

Both are walking away to move on with their life. One just happens to move onto a professional football career.

It’s the same geez ! Stingley opted out because he could’ve lost millions if gotten hurt and y’all call him a quitter and give him hell . MB quits and omg he’s a true tiger , bleeds purple and gold . That’s not right at all
