Fellas, I have heard that term used many times with upper crusters.

Another one that grates on my nerves, and they teach this in the finishing schools/prep schools of the northeast, they put "r" pronunciations on the ends of words that have no "r". Its to mimic people from Great Britian. Its also a sign for the unwashed that Im "a fellow of good standing from one of the old schools".

Now that I have said that, listen to the broadcasters....Russier instead of Russia, Florider instead of Florida.
