Nahh.. the QB1 needs 1st team reps for timing... they want to settle on it with a couple weeks to go.
At least the team will know.. and if the practices are open to the media then we'll know who's getting 1st team reps.
Just look at last year at ND. Transfer QB Jack Cone was named starter a couple weeks before their opener. Same thing here i bet.

A couple weeks is ideal...but I mean we have all seen battles that were just decided with a week to go.
