Well, it wasn't about attending church, it was about membership in church, which is a pretty big distinction in these discussions FWIW.

I've never been part of a church that would bar gay people from attending. From membership, or involvement that would otherwise be akin to membership, leadership, etc.? Yes. But not attending.
