I was just thinking about what a great player he is and a switch-hitter and leed-off guy. I don't think he entered the portal as Jay would've been on him. Great player and what a waste at WV, you are right!

Jay is on a hell of a run.
It will be very interesting to see how he handles the use of the portal every year. If we land Montgomery, that leaves very little room for second year players to get an opportunity in the OF.
Luckily I’ve got confidence that Jay will navigate that situation well.
