Ok, I just made a phone call.

Jesse was said to have contacted DCD crew via TD outdoor board in the spring of 2021.

When DCD crew showed up on site 2 days after Christmas last year, they were skeptical that it may be a guide service. They asked a guide and were told the truth, that it was indeed a guide services camp. After jesse’s, I mean “jimmy’s” departure and absence for the rest of the trip the DCD crew tried to make it right with the outfitter and pay for their services for which jesse was on the hook for but had disappeared. The outfitter refused payment as this was jesse’s fault. My contact has yet to speak with Jesse again since. Although money was offered to the outfitter by DCD for services provided, no compensation exchanged hands because of the good conscience of the outfitter and the shitty way jesse handled the situation from the beginning.

Quite the story. Wish they could have just shifted the narrative and given the guide some publicity instead of Jimmy. What a clown show that guy was. He ain’t living that one down. It was a bad look even if you saw the episode and didn’t know the story behind it.

So they knew before they went Beauxdine’s? Or at least before the hunt the next morning? Why the hell sis they allow him to still go on the hunt? And if they knew beforehand, and he knew they knew, not sure why he had to fake getting sick. Maybe I’m just looking too far into it.
