I still don’t understand the point of this other than trying to force it on meat eaters.
Why would a vegan eat something that tasted and resembled meat? What’s the point of that? Vegetables are actually good, but so is crispy pork.

Remember when they sued BK for cooking the impossible patty on the same grille as actual meat patties?

Some vegetarians really enjoy the taste of meat, but have issues with killing animals for consumption and/or factory meat farming.
I enjoy eating meat, and don't plan on stopping any time, but I can understand seeing a slaughterhouse video and bring turned off by it.

quote:Two things here: Firstly, these aren't marketed towards vegans. They're usually sold with cheese and mayo. And it's pretty simple to understand why a vegan might want to eat something that tastes like meat. Most of us grew up eating meat and like the taste. I'm not vegan because I hate the taste of meat. That's like asking why people drink diet soda if they don't consume sugar.

That said, fake meat is poison and you shouldn't eat it. Have a black bean burger instead.
