It's a bad trend. Rock n Roll marathon just announced it's not returning to NOLA either. The race was kindof cheesy but it brought a lot of people here and was one of the better running venues for the Rock n Roll brand.

Not surprisingly, the event organizers cited an unwillingness of local government officials to work with them as the reason for leaving.
