Crazy and tough can only take you so far. I'd put every penny I own on George Atiyeh in that bar fight. I sat across from Atiyeh at the lunch table in Broussard Hall once. He had a buzz cut at the time. It was intimidating as hell. Atiyeh was also a 2-time SEC Champion wrestler. I went to a fundraiser in 2008 and talked to a guy that played against Atiyeh when he was a center in the SEC. He told me that Atiyeh was the stongest player he ever competed against. The guy was NFL Hall of Famer Dwight Stephenson.

Atiyeh was also on the Syrian Olympic wrestling team IIRC

You may have George mixed up with Joe. George was huge and intimidating but Joe was the real deal.
