To summarize.

1. Pets are not human. They are animals.
2. Pete are complicated.
3. Pets are violent. They commit 33,000 times the yearly murder rate towards other animals than humans do to each other every year.
4. People who place pets equal to humans have antisocial issues, are awkward, and struggle to fill missing emotional attachment towards humans and rely on animals to try to make up for their psychological deficit.

Nailed it.

That being said. I love pets. I have a great dog. I enjoy the time my family spends around him and I am glad he is a happy pet.

I imagine after writing all the facts down in black and white there were several people here living alone in their apartment with their little dog and they had a good look at themselves in the mirror. They decide to finally do something. They decide to do some online dating or hang out with friends. They look at their fluffy dog and kick them off of them (insert dog yelp here). Time to start having relationships with humans.

And I can only say….your welcome.

How many animals do humans kill every year? It's almost "post a pic of the 500 birds your crew killed over the weekend" season.
