I’ve posted this before. So the state of MS has a trap program that you can partner up with adjoining properties that make up over 1000 acres of continuous land and get a trap set up.

The ONLY way to dent the population at all is not to hunt, but rather to trap entire sounders using the satellite controlled gates with 24x24 pens. Then slaughter IMMEDIATELY and remove carcasses.

We’ve killed 56 on our contiguous property of 1000 acres just this summer and we have another two sounders on camera to catch.

Yuup, unfortunately we can't come close to meeting the 1000 continuous acres. Our surrounding properties are mostly heir property in 20-50 acre plots and many of the current owners are out of the area. We have about 80 continuous acres.

Concur that trapping is likely the best solution.

You should partner up with other TD posters in your area that are having hog issues (lord knows there are quite a few) and yall all chip in to buy the whole system and share it by 3 month intervals. LINK
