That would be true, except for the crazy Freedom Caucus and the Trump base that is currently holding the Republican party hostage. If true Republican leaders were so scared of being labeled a RINO and losing Trump's base, it would be a great party.

Without the MAGA movement the GOP would be a terrible and unelectable party.
