Greenville, SC.
The downtown area is great. Very close to the mountains for hiking and outdoor activities. Downtown is clean & fun with predominantly post grad age kids. Clemson is close by and there’s a hockey team & baseball team that has pretty good support.
ETA- lots of beautiful lakes nearby and only about 3.5 to Charleston/beach.
