Yeah, Rockstar's best days are far behind them. I'm still pissed about their shitty remaster of the original trilogy and almost a decade of no story mode updates for GTA V.
The leadership at this company now is a joke. They deserve to crash and burn and it seems like they're doing their part to make it happen.
Female protagonist virtue signal failed. They have had female protagonists in games going back to the 90s.

How do we know its virtue signaling and them not just putting a female protagonist in the game? Like you said, there have been female protagonists in games since the 90s. Were they virtue signaling?
I'm genuinely asking, not trying to make a statement one way or the other. I think inserting a female in WW1 combat like Battlefield 1 did was pretty clearly virtue signaling, but why can't there just be a female protagonist in a GTA game as a character decision? Did you think they were just going to have dudes as the main character forever?

I feel like females and "people of color" are extremely overrepresented now.
