God damn, seriously Will Smith? I get wanting to work him through whatever this shite he is going through, but frick me running, this is painful to watch.

He should be DFA’d. Only on the hook for $4 million rest of season and there’s about as good a chance that option for next season is picked up as there is of me being on the roster next season. No one is claiming him off waivers but if someone signs him after we release him it saves us $200k and we also don’t have to worry about him ever pitching in another game.
