The Japanese people are very industrious, and they have a love of fine craftsmanship. I buy Japanese noodles at the local Asian grocery, and they are always perfectly packaged (wrapped with a ribbon in a very nice box).

This, there’s a reason they industrialized first. It wasn’t just some island of randos that decided hey, trains look cool.

Have you ever watched their YouTube carpentry videos where they don’t use any nails, screws, etc???
The wood work is beautiful, and it’s amazing how precise and almost seamless the results are.
