UGA isn’t going to win unless it improves
I'm glad the Advocate doesn't have a comments section under sports articles.

Seriously.
The AJC is hands down the worst large city newspaper in the country.

Weren't the Florida papers saying the same thing before the LSU game? I guess the UF guys read the paper. Hopefully the UGA guys don't read.

I hate coaches that use that "poor us" mentality so that if they lose, they can say, "well, i told y'all we are so injured, we didn't really have a chance, etc" or when they win, they say, "we really didn't have a chance with all of our injuries, but that just shows how good we are." Richt is such a bitch

LSU is in the same situation as UGA. They have not lived up to expections. IMO the team that wants it the most this saturday will win. I think we’re getting a little bit of a break having the game played at 3:30. And just maybe the Rantavious Wooten commitment to UGA is the beginning of a long awaited favorable wind blowing our way. I know all dawg fans are waiting to see the team play like we thought they would in preseason. But I’ll take a one point win over the Bayou boys in Red Stick as long as we get a W.

You are correct sir.
That's what happens when you have a one paper town in a city as large as Atlanta.

That's nothing close to anything he's said or done this week, fwiw.

You're not kidding.....I would put the Advocate's Sports Page up against any paper in the SEC. Touches on every big conference and other SEC teams.

While this may be true, the Dawgs expectations were much higher than ours after the dismissal of Perriloux.
Any logical fan would tell you they'd be happy with a return trip to Atlanta, ecstatic with an SEC title, and flat out beside themselves with a national title. I know we all stay optimisitc (most of us anyway) but I think we all expected a slight decline with our QB situation.
UGA, however, was pretty much BCS title or bust. I don't necessarily think one loss is "not living up to expectations" for either team though.

I guess I'm stretching it a bit, but he says "we're not gonna cry about it and make excuses...BUT" and then he goes on to talk about how the injuries have the team down. I'm probably being too hard on him, but injuries happen and you deal with them. It just sounds to me like he is whining about it
