Then that would date the coveralls to at the latest to the early 70s.
Most people don’t know that Myron Kinney was really the first one to put out well fires. Adair had his time in the sun, but most the stories are half legend and the success was due to Boots Hansen and Coots Mathews. The movie blew his ego up. By the end, Red couldn’t compete. He walked off jobs. He left next to nothing to his family. The company isn’t even around anymore.
