Because fathers are not even an afterthought. They’re simply ignored completely, and yet the missing link to a functioning family is the father in our society. Of course Mother’s and their nurturing nature are necessary as well. They aren’t the one’s under attack through. It’s the father’s that are ignored and the fallout from that is great.
