The Bills, Jets, and Chiefs of the AFL, Green Bay, Pittsburgh, and Miami teams involved in these games had some of the greatest Lines in the history of the leagues.
After the merger (and applicable to the Chief Lines before and after it) the argument could be made that the opponents OLines were better than the Raiders DLines in each those games.
The gap between the great Oakland OLines and the great Steeler/Dolphins DLines was much smaller than the gap between the great Steelers/Dolphins OLines and the Raiders DLine.
Kinda wonder if things might have been a little different if Howie Long had come along 10 or so years earlier.
