The AFC was just so frickin' stacked in the 70's.
From 1967 to 1976, the Raiders won 82% of their games!
But only 1 Super Bowl win. They were the 90s Atlanta Braves of football...and robbed by officials.

After the merger (and applicable to the Chief Lines before and after it) the argument could be made that the opponents OLines were better than the Raiders DLines in each those games.
The gap between the great Oakland OLines and the great Steeler/Dolphins DLines was much smaller than the gap between the great Steelers/Dolphins OLines and the Raiders DLine.
Kinda wonder if things might have been a little different if Howie Long had come along 10 or so years earlier.
