Just to be clear, a president can ABSOLUTELY influence gas prices. We see this every cycle - especially when a R in in office and prices almost immediately go down. There's no question Biden all out assault on fossil has spooked the market, and paired with the lagging economy and inflation, its worse than ever.
The problem with Biden is he wants to take credit when its convenient to do so, and deny influence when its inconvenient.
