re: Heat putting me in a moving spirit

I’m three years out for fully retiring. Selling my house in Orlando (the hottest, most humid place on earth). Moving to my house at St Augustine Beach and buying a Class A RV with a good chunk of the proceeds of the house in Orlando. Home base will be at SAB and I’ll chase 75 degrees in the Rv.

That’s my plan.

ETA: I bought my beach house in the Obama recession. I paid it off when I retired from FedGov and went to work doing the same thing for the State of Florida. I have just been enjoying it as a vacation home. It’s a small place but only one block off the beach. Prices have skyrocketed now. There’s no way I could ever even consider buying the same place in today’s market.

You younger folks are so screwed unless this changes drastically.
