We just don’t see TAA as a midfielder. He is a RB that might play inverted, don’t even know if that will be a consistent/long term thing. Gomez will be his backup

Not saying that’s right and really that very much remains to be seen, but that’s the way it looks.

I think getting 2 8’s was a priority. Outside of that, we probably could still use a 6, a LCB to eventually take over for VVD, probably a RCB to ultimately replace Matip and Gomez, a RB unless Calvin Ramsay sets the world on fire, and a RW to eventually take over for Salah

Obviously I don’t think we address all those needs this window, but I think we addressed some needs high on the priority list
