Depends on where you live. If it's south of I-40...it's not worth it.

ETA: The Cadillac XT6, Chevy Blazer, Honda Pilot, and Acura MDX have a trick AWD system that over drives the rear axle and makes the car handle better. THAT might be worth it if you value that kind of thing. But it seems sort of unnecessary in a family hauler that will be used far away from the snow belt.

Never driven on the beach before? Gotta have that AWD or FWD, or you’ll be hoping some Good Samaritans will help push you out.
