A guy I work with just bought a new full size GMC pickup. He didn’t have to order it. But as for now some features like his backup camera and heated seats don’t work due to a missing chip. GMC is selling trucks with some chips missing. Their plan is to do a recall once the chips become available and install them then.

Lincoln dealership said the same thing. Some features won't work anymore and you can add them later.
