Yes, indeed. When this happened, it was pretty big news here in NC. I have not bought so much as a slice of bacon from Smithfield since then.

I do like the fact that the guys that sold the land have been getting a ration of shite from their neighbors.
Needs to be far more done than that however. Restricting foreign sales for one.
