re: Feed a family of 4 w $20 contest

I bought four bone-in porkchops for like $10.77 last week. I grilled them. With them we had fresh green beans with new potatoes, squash casserole, some sort of cucumber salad stuff, and cornbread. All the vegetables were fresh from a neighbor's garden.

I bought a six pack with the extra cash.

ETA: We ate leftovers the next day for lunch and had enough for two more meals, so that would have technically fed four people.
