first you would have to define "famous"
Famous as in a huge chunk of the population has at least heard of him or know what he does (like Gary Clark type)?
then yes i think he would.
or
Famous as in one of the biggest stars in the country or even world?
ehhhh, probably not.
because the industry today is just different.
they're not looking for "Are you Experienced" type albums, so they don't get promoted and people have to actually search for it.
they're looking for one song that's catchy to be downloaded a bazillion times by teeny boppers, then move on to the next one catchy song.
