While I agree as well. That is not why they issued the statement. They were just mad the video made them and New Orleans look bad because there was an execution in broad day light.

Exactly this. The entire democrat party is going into the fall on a platform of "it's not as bad as it looks" and/or "this upheaval is good for us".

Watching a lady get executed in broad daylight does not prove out that narrative.

That city's leadership is just so inept. I just can't imagine living somewhere like that and continually voting for the same things and never changing. It makes no sense.
