The film that he [Kubrick] wanted most to make that never came to fruition was a biography of Napoleon.
Was NOT aware of all of this dot-connecting. A bio of Napoleon that also covered those aspects would have been fascinating.
It seems that time frame surrounding Napoleon, Waterloo, the French Revolution, a burgeoning new republic, America, etc etc is plagued by a lack of detail and the suggestion that ALL of it may be just part of ONE SERIES OF EVENTS (that happened to Reset EVERYTHING.).
But at least the Historical narrative covers these themes & events quite well........OR DO THEY NOT??
Nice take.

With that, you get to touch upon the great themes of the Masonic aspects of the French Revolution, the French campaign in Syria and Egypt (with a night spent in the Great Pyramid of Giza), and the real beginning of the Rothschild banking empire with the Napoleonic Wars and the battle of Waterloo.

The question comes down to whether Stanley was exposing elite occult society as a blight on mankind or reveling in his inner knowledge?... I get the impression that Stanley was simultaneously fascinated and repulsed.
Nice take.
