Of the 20 prospects that filled out the state’s top 10 ranked recruits over the past two classes, it looks like LSU will lose 14 of them. The state hasn't been raided like this since the early 90s.

It will become a trend with OU and UT entering the sec.

LSU doesn't have the money these schools do for NIL

Lsu is going to be in a position to pick its poison with regard to where to spend NIL and If rather it be football. Basketball and baseball can be second fiddle

There’s also another solution. It’s called winning games. 11-12 last 2 years isn’t helping.

Lol in others words we’re f’d. Imagine BK coming here thinking he could get better athletes and lockdown the state..when in actuality he’ll be lucky to sign 1 or 2 of the top ten each year. Yikes….

I'm not willing to call it yet, I want to give it a few years to see how much of Kelly's meh recruiting was being at ND and how much is him, but yeah, if NIL keeps trending this way, LSU is a wee bit screwed.

Though OU isn't a real threat. OU isn't richer than LSU. At least not to an appreciable level. It's the Texas, A&Ms, Ohio States, and to a lesser extent Georgias of the world who have effectively infinite money and are willing to spend it that are going to be filling the top 5. Alabama might be able to weather it just because of Nick Saban, but long term they're screwed too.
