I live here in Atlanta and God knows I hate these UGA fans. 
But one thing I will say about Richt, never can he be confused for a coach that runs up the score. Sometimes UGA struggles with teams simply because he whole-heartedly believes in managing a TD lead. He may come off smug or whatever, that's 1 man's opinion. I don't think you will find many fans that will accuse him of running up the score. I mean, they don't run it up on ANYBODY, good teams or bed teams. Hell, the 1st couple of games, his team was moved down for simply not winning by a large enough margin.
Let's be honest and logical. You always want a 2 score lead. Strange shyt happens in NCAA football. How far have we come to where a f'ing 10 pt win is considered running up the score.
Why did Kansas throw a TD with 48 seconds left? They were down by 3 TD's, what's the difference in losing by 2 as opposed to 3 TD's.
USC ran up the score. Okie St., Texas, and Penn St. ran up the score. Also they won impressively like a f'ing top team should if they think they are NC material.
I guarantee you if we beat UGA by 17, nobody here will care if we ran the score up. A win is a win. If we score to go up by 4 scores with .05 left, we will all be happy as hell!

Hey dingbat! Richt called a time-out with the playclock at ZERO! He couldn't have run out the clock!
As a Season ticket holder, I've seen Richt go down the field against other teams, while holding a double-digit lead, then take a knee to run out the clock, while sitting on the 3 yardline.

USC kneeled the 1st half clock out inside of WSU's 10, fwiw. They ran the ball the entire 2nd half with the bench in.
USC could have won that game 100-0 if it was trying to. Washington State is the worst BCS conference team since the BCS started. They've had 4 teams put 60 points on them now. They didn't even get to midfield. They had to hold open tryouts for another QB a few weeks ago, and the student that won is now their back-up.
