That's a clear lie. The near (not short) term path to lowering prices goes against him climate agenda. He will not even consider it.
Realistically he could get national average gas prices down to $3 a gallon by election day if he wanted to without even consulting Congress just by regulation and permitting changes within executive branch tyrannical agencies. He makes the conscious choice not to.

All designed to get the U.S. population even more dependent on handouts... This is the socialism/communist dream. Ask Cuba and Venezuela how that has worked out for them? At some point, hard-working, tax-paying folks are going to have enough, and then we'll see what happens.
Excessive stimulus handouts and anti-domestic oil and gas rulings are what drove this inflation and pending recession. And these fools want to give out more.
