i just got back and forgot to tape it. did he score on the play they reviewed?

yes....not enough evidence to overturn the on-field ruling....

we were sitting in the endzone which was across from both that endzone and the jumbotron. But i found it odd that it took them so long to call it after he was clearly on the ground...

Another virtual reality SEC ref call. The SEC must supply the refs with some really good shite!

I agree with you...that ball didn't cross the plane!

Why dont they have cameras on each sideline pointing right down the goalline and suspended above the goalline? Not having a better view of that play at the goalline is unacceptable.

They called it a touchdown.
He DID NOT score. They just couldn't overturn the WRONG call they made on the field.

they did....unfortunately LSU players were in the way, so you couldn't physically see the ball and the plane at the same time.....
as a result, the erroneous ruling on the field could not be overturned.....

All this bitchin wouldn't be here IF Lee doesn't throw the Pick in the 1st place!! Just sayin.

No way. Helmet got across line but ball didn't (unless it was hidden inside his helmet)

The ball never crossed the white line.
It was after he was on the ground on his back did he push the ball over the white line.
The ball should have been on the 1 foot line, that is now far the ball was from the goal line when he was down.

If anybody is wondering where AU refs went
Posted on 10/19/08 at 1:38 pm to Coon
Could have gone eother way. Because it was called a TD on the field I understand why it wasn't overturned.

That was the same ref who did the Kentucky game last year.
