I buy the 25 pound bags at regular intervals. Rice does turn brown and sours after a while. And I hate dumping a 50 pound bag all at once. Have 40 pound buckets of beans and dried potatoes in long-term buckets. Also have a large quantity of dried wheat for bread, but I need to buy an electric mill and try it out. Making fresh bread seems a good idea either way.
