re: Peaky Blinders (Final Season) Season 6 on Netflix

The season was just ok but I liked the finale. Tommy is a great character although I still don’t completely get him. Is the end him embracing being a badass morally bankrupt crime boss and just being ok with it? He seemed even more callous and calculated when he found out he was sick.

Side note with spoilers

It’s a bit hard to buy that he was going to kill himself without noticing a major decline in health. I think if I felt the exact same a year after being given a year to live I’d probably schedule another visit just to double check that time frame.
