OBA/Perdido Key Golf

Played Perdido Bay, Lost Key and Craft Farms (Cypress) this past week.
Lost Key- was better than last time I played it. Greens were nice but long and slow! They had mowed 15-18 when we got to there and those were ALOT faster! I just don’t like the layout? It may be all the 5w-3w layup tee shots. Still lots of sand spots and bare spots around the place that need work.
Perdido Bay- greens were great but the rest of the course need some maintenance so much of that place looked like my backyard mix of St Aug & weeds. Fun layout though. Greens were slow but they had a lot of rain the previous 2 days so maybe that’s why.
Craft Farms(Cypress)- this place was great. Course condition was super. I hadn’t played it in years. You can go low here, wide fairways and greens are not to challenging. I believe they had just punched Cotton Creek. Really enjoyed this place.
All 3 were ~$100 w/ cart.

When I played perdido the greens were in good shape but they went from real fast to slow and back by end of the round.
I think the round was $30 on golf now.

I edited my post. The greens were in great shape but the rest of the course looked like my backyard.

When I played a month ago it seemed to be in good shape outside the greens. I don’t recall it being bad on the fairways.
It was a fun course to play.

Has anyone played Perdido Bay lately? What are the conditions? Staying much closer to it than Craft Farms. Have a tee time at Craft Farms on Wednesday but may cancel and play Perdido.

Sitting on the patio at perdido bay now. Pretty much same condition as OP. Greens were in good shape but slow. Fairways were in good shape. Seems they’ve had some rain because the grass was long, especially on the tee boxes. I don’t think they own one weedeater though. Layout is really fun.

Craft Farms over Perdido Bay all day! Played CF a couple weeks ago and it was in really good condition and greens were awesome.
I’m down there 2-3x’s a month, Perdido Bay needs some money put into it to make it what it once was.
