Actually, most insurances are required by US Govt to reimburse fully for these tests. I have used the eMed tests also, which work well and are very convenient, and have been reimbursed fully by my health insurer for the full cost including shipping and tax.

Some insures might reimburse but definitely not most. Most will reimburse you to the federal reimbursement level of $12
