Book about St Lucia or Caribbean islands

I’m headed on vacation in a few weeks and I always like to read a book about the places I travel to. Can anybody recommend a book about St Lucia or the Caribbean Islands? I like both fiction and non fiction. Thanks.

I would recommend A Pirate Looks At Fifty by Jimmy Buffett. You’ll enjoy that book immensely with a drink in your hand and sand in your toes, cool blue water. Buffett has some great stories to tell.

An Embarrassment of Mangoes by Ann Vanderhoof
A couple sells all their stuff and sails down to the Caribbean and hops around from island to island. I read this years ago before this was a thing and people posted about it in blogs. There is a lot of info about the food and cooking as well.
