Doubt it. Most Rapides Parish schools usually abstain during LHSAA votes, ironically. Or at least that's the typical history unless something has changed.

Rapides schools voted 9-1 (with one abstaining) in 2013 in favor of the split.

Rapides schools voted 7-1 (with three abstaining) in 2016 to extend the split to basketball, baseball, and softball.
