How soon do I need to use it? I’m not quite at the point where I’d be fooling with it. If I can use it when ever I’m ready shoot dat to nolagt3 at gmail

Not 100% sure. Worst case, you can just download something small, but super popular on any computer just to get your ratio up off the bat

I think my email said 5 days to click the link and activate the account. I would think you have a while before you have to actually download anything after that.
