It is important to be grateful and you'll never know for sure what could pop up, but getting stomach cancer at that age is still very very rare (and likely more genetic than lifestyle unless theres something missing about his lifestyle). Don't live life paranoid and in fear but certainly be appreciative for what you've been given and these stories definitely do that.
